Our group, Puerto del Tango, completes 10 years since its foundation!
The best way to celebrate our anniversary is to organize a festival dedicated to this splendid occasion!
We are expecting everyone who loves tango to attend our festival from 20th to 24th of May in Volos, Greece in order to
meet, dance, learn and remember!

We would like to invite everyone to live the experience of getting in touch with the advantages of our city
Volos is located in the heart of Greece. It adorns the central and eastern part of the country, as it is located four hours away from Athens and two hours and a half from Thessaloniki. Because of its geographic location in the cove of Pagasitikos bay, as well as, in conjunction with beautiful mountain Pelion, it is well-known as one of the most beautiful destinations in Greece.
The greatest asset of our city is, probably, the combination of the sea breeze with the view of the Mountain of Centaurs. There is no doubt that every visitor would love to take a walk in the famous port of Volos, which is surrounded by beautiful cafes and traditional taverns that serve tsipouro, the most popular drink in town. Plenty of them would love to offer some intervals of rest (tango breaks) from the workshops and the happenings of the festival.
You would have the opportunity to organize excursions to the picturesque villages of Portaria and Makrinitsa which are within driving distance of 15 minutes from the city of Volos (see HERE routes).
